Under the leadership of the Director, program staff lead structured activities and groups designed to empower youth to excel in school and lead healthy, productive lives. Activities include; sports, arts & crafts, academic/homework time, team building, group games, and more.  Group Facilitators are encouraged to bring their own passions and interests to the program.

Qualifications & Expectations
• High School Diploma or GED, with one year experience working with students, or a strong desire to start a career in youth development.
• Demonstrate consistency and respect with students, parents, and school/program staff.
• Implement early intervention policy in accordance with Scholars Life Center guidelines.
• Inspire scholars to make wise choices regarding their educational, personal, physical, social, and emotional well-being. Provide virtual learning supervision and support for assigned scholars in community learning pods.
• Promote scholar achievements through positive validations, approved incentives, and affirmation.
• Inform Director regarding trends, needs and concerns associated with scholars, families, and the facility.
• If applicable, maintain credit hours of continuing education as required by State Certification.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Compensation
 Hourly rate based upon education and experience level.  

Program Schedule
Day/Evening Groups -  Varies by location.
Afternoon Groups - Mon - Fri, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. 

We work with college or other flexible schedules as needed.
